Doing the right thing means that you have to put everything into it without being selfish.  If you are going to be kind, be kind without expecting anything in return,  If you are going to be honest, tell the whole truth.  Being a CTR person means that you choose the right 24/7.  This quote is saying that a lot of people misinterpret the phrase “do the right thing.”  This quote means that when you are doing what is right, you have to do it entirely.  You cannot give 10% effort on a test and expect and 100% grade.  When you tell a “partial-truth”, that is a lie.  You are not being entirely honest, you are not being 100% kind.  I think that doing the right thing requires integrity and dignity, which is why some people only do HALF of the right thing.  No matter what, you always have to do the right thing.  You always have to give your 100% in everything you do, you always have to be entire.
