This quote defines my life basically.  Because I do believe that education is extremely important to our future and to our lives.  My interpretation of this quote is that education is what will help us be successful in life.  Most people my age (15,16,17) don't really take school seriously because they think that it won't help them, but it will.  The more we learn, the more educated and wise we are.  The more we learn, the more we can spread our knowledge to other people.  Education is kind of like an open door that we get every single day.  Some people decide to go through that door, and some people decide to close it.  It is an opportunity that should be taken by everyone that has the intelligence to take it.  Most people don't really realize how important education is.  We take it for granted because we think that it can't be taken away from.  But it can be taken away from us, and that is why we should feel lucky that it is provided to us for free.  Most people don't understand this, but education is what makes us who we are.  The more we are educated, the more we can have opinions, the more we can spread that knowledge, the more we can be successful. 

For example, the things that I learn in Spanish class, I share with my mom.  My mom shares it with my grandma.  And the chain goes on, and all the people who receive that new piece of knowledge,  received it because of education.

"Decisions Determine Destiny" - Thomas S. Monson 

        To me, this quote means that in life, the choices we make are what determine our path and where we will end up.  If you decide to work hard and get an education, then chances are that you will most likely live a happy life. But if you choose to do drugs, hang out with the wrong crowd, then chances are you will end up alone.  This quote means that people need to think twice before making decisions that can determine their destiny.  My take on this quote is that in life, a bad decision will get you a bad consequence and a good decision will get you a good reward.  Everything in life is in the hands of decisions.  That is why it is important to be wise and to think before we act or speak.  It is important that we are 100% sure of our goals and dreams.  It is important that we make the right decisions when certain situations present themselves. We choose where we go in life, we choose how we end up, and our decisions determine our destiny.

       
For example, if you CHOOSE to go to school everyday for the whole school year, your DESTINY will be receiving an award for perfect attendance. 

TAKE A CHANCE 

I didn't know that students could start clubs/teams until yesterday.  i was kind of surprised that the school didn't have a dance team, since literally every high school has one.  But to be honest, its ok.  It gives me the chance to try something new and start my own Dance Team.
