No matter what you do in this life, you can never make something that is wrong, right.  There are a lot of things that are considered to be popular nowadays, but that does not mean that those things are right.  If you are with your friends and they all decide to drink beer or smoke weed, even if they are all doing it, that doesn't make it right. You should always stick to what is right, and to your beliefs.  I think that sometimes people do the wrong things because they want to fit in, but if you are doing the wrong thing then you won't be at peace with yourself.  It is much more important in this life to be at peace with yourself and to have a clean conscious rather than be popular.  It might be hard to stand along, but remember that it is much better than standing with multiple people for the wrong reasons.  Just like this quote “It is better to be alone than in bad company.”  This quote coincides with Nelson’s quote because it is saying that it is better to be alone and know you chose the right, than to be surrounded by people who pressure you to choose the wrong.
