The 10 Indian Commandments
  1. Treat the Earth and all that dwells therein with respect.
  2. Remain close to the Great Spirit.
  3. Show great respect to your fellow beings.
  4. Work together for the benefit of all mankind.
  5. Give assistance and kindness whenever needed.
  6. Do what you know to be right.
  7. Look after the well-being of mind and body.
  8. Dedicate a share of your efforts to the greater good.
  9. Be truthful and honest at all time.
  10. Take full responsibility for your actions.

The 10 Indian Commandments are a huge commitment that not just anyone can or should make.  As easy as it may sound, it is not that easy to choose the right 100% of the time, which is essentially what these commandments demand.  You have to be completely sure and ready that you will be able to commit to these rules.  You will have an image to live by- rules to live by.  These are commandments- not suggestions or opinions.  If you commit to these rules, there is no going back.  With that being said, I think that this is a great way to live.  I personally would commit to these commandments and would commit to being the best person that I can be 100% of the time.  I would also recommend these commandments to people who I know want to live the right way.  It is important to remember that by making this commitment- you are changing your life completely.  NOT just changing your life, but changing for the better.

Student Success Statement
"Goodness is the only investment that never fails."
Henry David Thoreau
Have you ever heard the term "Quality over quantity"?  Essentially, that term means that the cost of something shouldn’t matter, how useful and how good is what should matter.  In life, if you invest in doing something kind, that action will not fail.  Being kind and being good is something that will always come with inner satisfaction.  This is why it is important to be kind.  When you are kind, other people are inspired by that.  They want to be kind themselves.  Even if you are only kind to yourself, people admire that as well.  They think "If they can do it, I can do it!"  An investment is something that you do to receive a good outcome.  When you invest goodness into your life, good things will start happening around you.  People will also start to be good around.
